They sourced and installed our indoor wooden sprung court and 12 outdoor rubberised courts, all to an exceptional standard. Their professionalism, ongoing support, and genuine commitment to our organisation have been second to none—often stepping in to help resolve issues even with surfaces they didn’t install. Hardwood Technology truly cares about the communities they work with, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any sporting facility.

Sustainable Gymnasium Flooring
We proudly distribute Junckers hardwood sprung flooring, which is designed with sustainability in mind—from forest to finished floor.
Junckers use responsibly sourced hardwood from certified, sustainably managed forests where every harvested tree is replaced, helping to preserve biodiversity and secure wood resources for future generations.
Timber is a natural, renewable material that stores carbon, actively contributing to climate goals over the lifespan of the floor. Each system is built to last for decades and designed for disassembly, allowing for re-use, relocation, or reconfiguration instead of landfill. Even the production process supports the planet—surplus wood is upcycled into biomass energy that powers Junckers facilities and supports the local grid.
The result is a high-performance floor that’s as good for athletes and venue managers, as it is for the environment.

Daily sweeping or dry mopping is recommended and a weekly or twice weekly deeper clean using a PH-neutral sports floor cleaner to help preserve slip resistance and safety. Periodical recoating or sanding/recoating is advised.
Heavily used floors will benefit from a light refinishing and recoating once a year to protect their finish and performance qualities.
We recommend using the cleaning and maintenance products specified by the flooring manufacturer for optimal results.
-
Yes. For optimal performance, it is recommended that you recoat the floors every 2-5 years, depending on usage. However regular cleaning and maintenance can significantly extend the time between recoats.
Every 10-15 years an indoor timber court should be fully sanded, lacquered and line marked bringing it back to an as-new condition.
We offer sports floor maintenance and repair services to support clients with their recoating and re-sanding needs.
-
Installing gym sports floors typically takes between three weeks and two months, depending on the venue size and whether it’s a new build or renovation.
We won’t star installing a gym floor until the correct moisture levels and environmental conditions for the timber are met.
Because we use prefinished boards with a hard-wearing factory lacquer, floors are ready for use immediately after installation.
